Wash Delicately
Use a gentle cycle with cold water to preserve color and fabric integrity. Wash similar colors together to prevent color bleeding. Turn garments inside out before washing to minimize friction and protect surface details. Avoid overloading the washing machine to ensure thorough cleaning and prevent excessive wrinkling.
Easy on the detergents
Use a mild detergent without bleach or harsh chemicals to avoid damaging the fabric. Consider using a detergent specifically formulated for delicate fabrics or colors to maintain vibrancy.
Dry
Those spinning and drying machines are very rough on high-quality cotton. Instead, hang or lay your t-shirt flat to dry. Additionally, avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight, as it can cause the color to fade.
Proper maintenance
Iron your t-shirt on a high setting while it’s still damp. Be especially careful with the neck rib, as it is the most delicate part; iron it gently without stretching. Use a lint roller on solid-colored t-shirts to keep them looking fresh and new.
